What did we fix before and after launch?
Project brief
What went into rebuilding this outdoor-service website?
An outdoor-service rebuild combined owner-informed content with domain and launch repairs. Controlled lab improvements are reported separately from real-user performance.
What was missing from the old website?
The business needed clearer service information, original educational content, more useful estimate preparation, and a stronger path to an inquiry.
The project also involved a confusing mix of domain, hosting, and email responsibilities across providers. Moving the website meant working out which account controlled each part of the setup and investigating unnecessary legacy charges.
Some issues were discovered during the new site's launch, including indexing restrictions, conflicting preferred-domain settings, and analytics that wasn't initially collecting correctly. Those were launch problems addressed in the project, rather than defects all inherited from the previous website.
What service and project information did we add?
We built a new website with dedicated services, local guidance, pricing information, FAQs, educational articles, photography, owner information, and quote paths.
The content incorporated answers supplied by the owner: price factors, travel, preparation requirements, access and site conditions, cleanup expectations, payment arrangements, and contact hours. These details helped explain what a customer should know before requesting an estimate.
We also clarified the boundary between work performed directly and work coordinated with other professionals. Unsupported public credential and coverage claims were removed in favor of wording the business could support.

What did we fix before and after launch?
Owner-informed service content, launch corrections, and inquiry measurement each had a distinct job.
- 01Explain the work
- 02Connect the website
- 03Check the inquiry path
What website connection and launch issues did we fix?
Domain records were updated to connect the business's address to the new website, and propagation issues were worked through during the transition.
Technical changes corrected production indexing restrictions and canonical-host conflicts. Titles, descriptions, internal links, breadcrumbs, and structured data were improved. Existing redirects were preserved, and the pricing page was distinguished from the educational article about cost.
Performance work reduced oversized decorative assets and unnecessary early font loading. In controlled tests using the same environment and a warmed cache, the homepage's mobile Largest Contentful Paint improved from 5.0 to 3.7 seconds. A main service page improved from 4.5 to 3.6 seconds.
These are lab observations under the stated conditions. They are not a claim that the site passed real-user Core Web Vitals or loads at that speed for every visitor.
How did we set up website and inquiry tracking?
Analytics was installed, Search Console was connected to the web stream, and quote and contact interactions received more specific tracking.
Successful form submissions were standardized into a lead event that fires after the form provider accepts the submission. Automated tests exercised that behavior. A documented real production inquiry would still be needed to prove delivery of the complete message and any attachments to the owner's inbox.
We also reviewed local listings and profile issues and prepared the structure for future project stories. That structure intentionally remained empty until verified project details were available.
What was completed, and what still needed verification?
The work delivered a more complete service website, documented technical corrections, clearer customer information, improved lab performance, and a better-defined measurement implementation. Final profile corrections, production inquiry delivery, and post-launch business results require their own evidence. No lead, revenue, or sustained-ranking increase is claimed here.
